Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy

Coastal Ceremonies is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our team, communities and clients. We are dedicated to encouraging a supportive and inclusive culture within the wedding industry.

As members of the Irish Ethical Celebrant Society we aim to create, nurture, and inspire ethical communities to foster a world that is democratic, compassionate, just, and sustainable. We are an inclusive organisation that embraces the diversity of our colleagues and our clients, and focuses on human goodness and building ethical relationships with each other.

We recognise the unique worth and dignity of all people and prohibit discrimination of services under the Equal Status Acts 2000-2018 which cover the nine grounds of gender, marital status, family status, age disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, and membership of the Traveller community.

We advocate for reason, compassion, and rational thinking and we act to elicit the best in others and in ourselves, celebrating with and supporting each other through life.

INAR

As members of the Irish Ethical Celebrant Society we are delighted to be a member of INAR (the Irish Network Against Racism) which is a national network of anti-racism civil society organisations which aims to work collectively to highlight and address the issue of racism in Ireland.
