A 500 year old Castle for up to 8 guests

What a unique opportunity to say “I do” in your own private Medieval Gaelic Tower House dating back to the 15th century. This castle has been beautifully restored with careful attention to retaining all its original features and style, yet with the comforts of the 21st century.

From the entrance a stone spiral staircase takes you up to the top of the tower house to The Great Hall where your Ceremony will take place. Picture exposed oak roof trusses and an open fire, it really doesn’t get more romantic than this! After your intimate ceremony you can enjoy a feast fit for a king and queen prepared by your Ballymaloe trained personal chef using the finest locally sourced produce.

A private Castle on a 1600 acre Estate

This Castle dating back to 1817 was built during the Gothic revival period and can be yours exclusively for up to 40 guests.

It is a private one of a kind Castle, overlooking Europe’s largest privately held lake and surrounded by manicured lawns , mature woodland and parkland scenery. The setting is majestic for romantic wedding day photographs. The Library allows friends and family to relax in informal splendour beside the open fire.The lavishly decorated Dining Room is set impeccably for the wedding meal. Later that evening dancing can take place in the Great Hall.

A 14th Century Fortified Tower

For an intimate Ceremony why not choose a 14th century Norman Tower steeped in history. The tower is set on the banks of a river and can cater for up to 20 guests.

Say “I do” in the writing room or on the restored ground floor of the tower, or maybe an outdoor ceremony by the mill ruins, accessed via a narrow bridge and woodland walk, with a view of the pear trees. Following your ceremony you can access the battlements via a winding staircase for an incredible photoshoot with views of the countryside as far as the eye can see. You can hire the tower exclusively for your Ceremony.  For those interested in Ireland, literature, history and ancient ruins this is the perfect location for you.
