Orla from Coastal Ceremonies was our celebrant for our wedding at Trim Castle Hotel in August 2022. I had met Orla previously and knew her to be a really friendly and competent person, so we were delighted when she told us she’d be free to be our wedding celebrant!
Since we were planning our wedding from abroad, we were in touch with Orla via email and phone /video calls. From the beginning, we felt really comfortable with her. She is extremely warm and bubbly while remaining utterly professional. What we really loved throughout the process was that Orla really wanted to get to know us as a couple. From the outset, it was clear that she had loads of experience and suggestions and advice when it came to planning our ceremony. At the same time, she wasn’t pushy at all, and made it clear that we had utmost flexibility and freedom as far as the details were concerned. The few months and weeks leading up to the ceremony felt very much like a collaborative time where we bounced ideas and suggestions off each other.
On the day, we were both hugely nervous but Orla calmed our nerves. She was amazing, and many of our guests commented on how beautiful, unique and personalised the ceremony was.
